Northrop Grumman Chandler is looking for a Sr. Principal Software Engineer IV Lead located in Chandler, AZ.
The candidate will develop staffing plans and schedules, track progress, generate status and metrics, oversee a software development team, and support internal and external program and customer meetings for successful completion of the overall software project.
Candidates should have experience with real-time embedded systems and the full software development lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 9 years of related working experience
Master's Degree and 7 Years experience, PhD with 4 years of working experience
Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
Software project leadership
Object Oriented (OO) software development experience
Experience in embedded real-time software development, debug and test
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Engineering
Active Secret Clearance
Proficiency with Linux and Linux based software development tools
Experience with real time operating systems (RTOS) environments including VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS or other equivalent RTOS
Familiarity with DOORS (Requirement Management System), Jira, BitBucket, Confluence
Experience with space craft or launch systems software development
