The Software Engineering team is hiring for a Software Engineer 2 position located in Chandler, AZ.
The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for the design, implementation and unit test of real-time embedded software for target launch vehicles as well as associated analyses and verification. This may include the development of software requirement specifications and design documentation as well as participating in software process activities including peer reviews, integration testing, and software configuration management. The development will range from modifying/maintaining existing software baselines to new design and implementation.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) with 2 years of related engineering experience or Master’s Degree and 0 years of related engineering experience
Ability to obtain Secret security clearance
Motivated, teachable, open minded, responsible, organized, critical thinker
Working understanding of embedded software development
Able to communicate openly and effectively with teammates, other engineering disciplines and customer representatives as a team player
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Computer Engineering
Active Secret Clearance
Experience with Object Oriented (OO) software development with the C++ programming language
Experience in embedded, multi-threaded, real-time software development, debug and test
Proficiency with Linux and Linux based software development tools and cross Experience with digital communication protocols (Ethernet, UART, HDLC, CAN, I2C
