Northrop Grumman Space Systems is currently seeking an Principal Engineer Systems to join the Systems Engineering Integration and Test team within the Launch Vehicles business unit to support the Sentinel Program in our Chandler, AZ office.
The selected candidate will work to maintain the architectural model, manage subsystem/component/assembly level requirements, participate in verification/validation planning, and support of integration and test. This position will require candidates to work with a team of systems engineers from a broad array of technical backgrounds as well as component design IPTs responsible for hardware development and integration activities. To succeed in this role the ideal candidate should bring a positive attitude, enjoy collaboration across teams and disciplines, and showcase a strong technical background. Candidate should have strong technical skills and interpersonal skills with project experience to demonstrate that these requirements are met.

Basic Qualifications:
Requires BS in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years related experience, Master’s Degree with 3 years of related experience or PhD with 0 years of experience.
Minimum 3+ years of Systems Engineering Experience
U.S. Citizenship is required
Full Secret clearance is required for this position
Demonstrated Systems Engineering experience
Strong oral and written communication skill
Preferred Qualifications
A strong experienced-based and academic foundation in Systems Engineering fundamentals
Experience with Northrop Grumman Space Systems LVBU Systems Engineering standards/guidelines and expectations
Experience with external customer interfacing (meetings, presentation, negotiation)
Experience with DOORS
Experience with Cameo
Experience with Agile and Scrum
