Test Engineer II and III level.
Job Responsibilities:
• Designs hardware, software, and interface specifications for equipment used to support laboratory, test, and operational environments.
• Develops or reviews test cases, and verification compliance matrices and writes system-level procedures.
• Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions.
• Documents, communicates and provides feedback and recommendations for product and design changes.
• Ensure testing procedures are in compliance with any required government-specific standards.
• May coordinate with vendors or supplies to modify or develop testing for components or other parts.
• Responsible for planning and arranging the labor, schedules, equipment, and diagnostics required for testing and evaluating both standard and special devices.
• Specifies tests to be performed and provides test area with parameters for sample testing.
• Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment and diagnostics, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
• Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment.
• Manages all aspects of complex projects.
Requirements:
• This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U. S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
• 5+ years of experience in architecting, design, integration, and test experience with special test equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware using standard test equipment such as signal generators, spectrum analyzers, scopes, etc.
• Experience in Special Test Equipment multipurpose integrated test units engineered, designed, fabricated, or modified to accomplish special purpose testing in performing a contract.
• Experience in Special Tooling, jigs, dies, fixtures, molds, patterns, taps, gauges, and all components.
• Experience in developing systems requirements, validation and verification strategies, and verification planning.
• Good software skills, especially in scripting languages.
• Knowledge of digital and RF components and circuitry required.
• Strong problem-solving skills and logical thinker, self-starter, team player, and good communicator.
• Ability to multitask working independently or in groups.

• Presenting and documenting test plan reports and project status for responsible products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
