Positions Available: 1
- Responsible for developing the Space Vehicle Test Requirements Document (TestRD) in DOORS. The SV TestRD captures all SV, Space Element, and Space Subsystem tests and demonstrations executed by the Space Park AI&T team needed to support SV verification and validation activities, and is the origin of test procedure development.
- Leads weekly or bi-weekly thread working groups (WGs) with Thread Leads and SV AI&T to coordinate the SV TestRD baseline including origination of change requests
- Supports coordination of SV Element IPT inputs for Space Element and Subsystem inputs
- Attends Thread and AI&T working groups to ensure changes are appropriately captured in the SV TestRD
- Brings changes through the SV change boards
- Supports the development of the EV-1 and EV-2 environmental specifications
- Responsible for development and delivery of the Test Requirements CDRL to the customer
Basic Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in systems engineering and testing
- Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an ABET accredited university and 14+ years of Systems Engineering experience in an aerospace/defense environment OR
- Master’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an ABET accredited university and 12+ years of Systems Engineering experience in an aerospace/defense environment
- Strong People and Technical Leadership Skills
- Active DoD Secret clearance (required Day 1) with the ability to obtain an SCI
- Excellent communication Skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experienced developing requirements for Space Vehicle tests and demonstration
- Active SCI clearance
- End-to-end Systems Engineering experience
