The Program Lead will help drive the development of the planned program execution effort, including cost, schedule, risk, and resources. The lead will support proposal development and development of related work statements and business plans. Candidate must be comfortable with briefing at the executive level and working independently with limited oversight. This role is a full-time position, functionally reporting through Program Integration. 

The Motorhead program lead will assist with logistics and oversight to enable program leadership to achieve operational excellence with a focus on setting up for execution, support to multiple I&G OU captures and programs, and oversight of key program enabling functions such as security and facilities.  

Primary job responsibilities include:  
-    Lead overall program effort and strategy, including customer engagement and alignment
-    Manage program cost, schedule, performance, and suppliers
-    Participate in negotiating contracts and contract changes
-    Builds a collective understanding of program risks, issues, and opportunities; shapes collaborative solutions to maximize performance of the organization
-    Provides leadership, management, guidance, and oversight for matrixed personnel
-    Strong collaboration across the portfolio teams and program community

Basic Qualifications:
-    Bachelor's degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) with 9+ years of experience OR a Master's degree in STEM with 7+ years of relevant experience OR a PhD in STEM with 4+ years of relevant experience
-    Prior experience leading a team and supporting multiple programs 
-    Prior Cost Account Manager experience
-    Prior proposal experience
-    Prior technical operations or program integration experience
-    Candidate must have SCI access and DoD Clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within 5 years 

Preferred Qualifications: 
-    Advanced Degree in STEM
-    Excellent interpersonal skills
-    Experience presenting across all levels of leadership and customers
-    Experience interfacing with senior management, peers, and employees
-    Aptitude to develop and execute to a strategy
-    Self-directed leader with strong verbal and written communication skills
-    Active Top Secret/SCI clearance

- Flexible Schedules:  For example the ability to work a 9/80 work schedule, which allows an employee to work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off of work

Salary Range: $129,700 - $194,500
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
