Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Systems Integration and Test, Advanced Processing Solutions, Model Based Systems Engineering, Modeling, Simulation and Analysis, Systems Design and Transformational Computing teams.
As part of our Systems Integration and Test team you will support test and verification activities of RF, EO/IR, EW, SIGINT or SATCOM.
As part of our Advanced Processing Solutions team, you will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
As part of our Model Based Systems Engineering Team, you will be responsible for development, implementing, and understanding modeling and simulation needs as a function of the systems engineering and mission engineering processes across the air, space, land, sea, and cyberspace domains.
As part of our Modeling, Simulation and Analysis team, you will focus on accelerating the delivery of capabilities to our customers through the development and use of advanced models and simulations of platforms, sensors, weapons, and their interactions with the environment.
As part of the Systems Design and Transformation Computing team, you will perform front-end system design activities/product development and collaborate with stakeholders to perform system architecture and design activities.
This position will be located at one of our four locations in: Baltimore, Linthicum or Annapolis, Maryland
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in science, engineering, or related discipline with 14 years of experience; or 12 years of relevant experience with a Masters (MS) degree or 9 years of relevant experience with a Ph.D. 4 additional years in lieu of a degree
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Ability to obtain or maintain an active U.S. Government DOD Secret Clearance
General understanding of Requirements elicitation and generation.
General understanding of Architecture, Interface Definition, and Design.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active DoD Top Secret clearance or higher
Ability to obtain DoD Special Program Access (SAP)
Familiarity with Model Based System Engineering experience, i.e.: Cameo, DOORS
Familiarity with cryptography
Familiarity with C/C++, Python, JAVA, MATLAB etc. languages
Experience with Agile Development
Familiarity with custom hardware system design.
Familiarity with microwave, high speed digital, or cryogenic test

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
This position is contingent upon the ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret Clearance
