Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Flight Test Planning Manager 3. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel program. This position may require occasional travel from Roy to Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA and Colorado Springs, CO. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
This Test Planning and Process Manager role supports the Flight Test Sub-IPT within the System Test Team organization and is responsible for planning integration and test activities, developing the integrated test plan, and providing the standardization of test products for the entire program.
What You’ll Get To Do:
- Partner with System Engineering and the other Segment and Element teams to plan test and demonstration activities in a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) environment.
- Maintain domain expertise of MBSE test architecture process within the organization.
- Develop and maintain templates and processes for test planning, test reports, test information sheets, test procedures, and associated test products.
- Oversight of contractual documentation (CDRLs), leading and participating in customer working groups, and leading major design reviews for the System Test Team.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor's of Science in STEM discipline with 8 years of related work experience; or 6 years of related work experience with a Master's of Science in STEM discipline.
- 5 years experience with SYSML or UML
- 3 years of experience in a formal lead/management position.
Prior experience with Integration and Test Principles and best practices
Prior experience in SIL/Lab testing environments or test execution efforts - US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 5 years)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- US Citizenship with an Active TOP Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 5 years)
- Prior experience in integration and test activities on an air platform, preferably an ICBM program, and managing Integrated Test Plans along with detailed test planning to lower levels
- Experience with decomposition, allocation, and verification of system requirements
- Model Based System Engineering – Test planning and verification in MBSE, knowledge in CAMEO
