Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Level 3 Maintenance Technician to support our Facilities Engineering Team located on site in San Diego, CA.
Role Description & Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for but not limited to maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, and HVAC.
Job Duties:
- Customer support includes setting up for site and executive events, coordination with multiple stakeholders and require a high attention to detail
- Activities may include drywall, patch, paint, build and relocate furniture as required
- Support Facilities Construction Project Managers on facilities projects and all other assigned job duties and tasks as assigned
- Plumbing repairs to include water leaks, stoppages, faucets, toilets, and urinals
- Recognizing HVAC and electrical issues for referral to vendors when required
- Shift: 4/10 B shift (6:00am-4:30pm/Tues-Fri)
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry and/or construction environment
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
- Strong computer, math, analytical, and planning skills
- Able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Current DoD Secret Clearance
- Experience using Maximo Data Base for work tickets and job assignments
