Come help us continue building our advertising infrastructure. The Northrop Grumman Advertising team leads buying, planning and implementation of advertising tactics across our key audience set supporting customer work and talent acquisition hiring efforts.

We’re hiring an AdTech leader to focus on implementing our data management strategy and our roadmap for the cookieless future. This will include all elements related to advertising in our SalesForce Marketing Cloud instance, serving as the point person for our Identity Resolution/ID Graph project, and engaging with our media agency and overseeing technical elements of the advertising process.   

With our external agencies, internal data scientists and engineering teams, as well as communications leaders, setting up and maintaining our ID graph and audiences is a key element in this position. Additionally, this person will be the liaison with our data management partners, oversee and monitor digital tools to ensure advertising campaigns are in market and are performing, while also assisting with reporting and analysis on campaigns. 

Key activities:

  • Partner with engineering and data science teams, support development and maintenance of ID graph within SalesForce; direct audience segmentation and development; liaison with advertising partners.  
  • Connect with other digital tool owners and content creators to align on metadata and taxonomy as well as any integration opportunities. 
  • Collaborate on identifying audience journeys, touchpoints, and content development needs to support. 
  • Be the authority on how all parties transact and use identity, audience, and device data across digital advertising formats in the advertising industry. 
  • Understand privacy and infosec compliance in data handling.  
  • Oversee audience development and management in CRM/ID graph and other sources like Google. 
  • Collaborate with teams to set up and maintain tracking, automation, personalization and optimization of digital assets.  
  • Translate data into clear, compelling, and actionable insights by leveraging advanced analytics tactics conducted by central resources  
  • Work with agency and internal content creators/posters to ensure all are properly tracking activity on and across all marketing touchpoints. 

Competencies

  • Experience with acquiring, handling, storing and sharing first, second- and third-party data sets with appropriate internal teams and partners 
  • A collaborative mindset, a good listener and is able to identify resolutions quickly 
  • Love of metrics and has a passion for producing insightful analysis to turn into optimizations. 
  • Proficient in Marketing Cloud Connector and integrating with other Salesforce Cloud types (eg: Sales and Service Cloud and with external systems.) 
  • Will assist with creation of new campaigns, including data configuration, audience creation, and utilization of capabilities in the platform. 

Basic Qualifications for Level 3: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years' related experience; or a Master's degree with 4 years' related experience (Principal Level)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an agency or highly matrixed organization 
  • 7+ years of product management and/or technical experience in AdTech or MarTech. 
  • At least 3 years’ experience with marketing automation & orchestration tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred) or Marketo, Eloqua, etc) 

Basic Qualifications for Level 4: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years' related experience; or a Master's degree with 8 years' related experience (Principal Level)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in an agency or highly matrixed organization 
  • 7+ years of product management and/or technical experience in AdTech or MarTech. 
  • At least 3 years’ experience with marketing automation & orchestration tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud (preferred) or Marketo, Eloqua, etc) 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Advertising Studio 
  • Experience working within an Agile, iterative methodology framework 
  • Previous integration/implementation experience in marketing automation 
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Specialist certification 
  • Google Analytics experience, including Google Tag Manager 

Salary Range: $79,700 USD - $138,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $98,700 USD - $171,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
