The Northrop Grumman Human Resources organization is seeking a Technical Cohorts Specialist to join the Enterprise Technical Development organization (TD).  TD delivers development resources to the global NGC workforce through three primary activities: 1) understanding the company’s current and future development needs, 2) defining, developing, and deploying strategic content and programs, and 3) ensuring resources are accessible and relevant to users at all levels. In support of this mission, TD designs, develops, and delivers cohort programs that focus on building critical skills and target all levels of technical talent. 

Primary Location of the role will be Falls Church, VA or Linthicum, MD, however, we may consider a virtual telecommuter candidate.

Key Responsibilities

The Technical Cohorts Specialist, reporting to the Technical Cohorts Manager, engages in the development and deployment of learning solutions and experiences to effectively engage and upskill talent, building critical capability and capacity to successfully execute on highly reputable, enterprise-wide programs. This individual will work closely with the Technical Cohorts Lead and other team members to effectively deliver technical cohort programs. As the Technical Cohorts Specialist, you will:

  • Manage the cohort nominations process, working with stakeholders to help identify nominees, track participant responses, and contact alternates

  • Manage the communications process, developing and administering participant, manager, and stakeholder communications throughout the program lifecycle

  • Assist in developing materials to support the communication and delivery of the program, to include program overviews, in-session presentations, and participant resources

  • Support the delivery of innovative and engaging virtual and/or in-person training, to include leading exercises and activities that enrich the learning process

  • Oversee cohort operations, updating and administering access to program sites, providing logistical support for both in-person and virtual sessions, and managing the program mailbox

  • Administer evaluation surveys and analyze results to assess the impact of technical cohort programs

Basic Qualifications

  • A2: Master’s degree with 1 year of experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of experience or 5 years of experience in lieu of a degree

  • A3: Master’s degree with 4 years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience or 8 years of experience in lieu of a degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated project management skills, including experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Demonstrated experience partnering and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to achieve an objective

  • Demonstrated experience briefing to different audiences, such as executive leadership

  • Familiarity with Northrop Grumman development resources and learning philosophy

Salary Range: $61,900 USD - $125,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
