Reporting to Northrop Grumman's Director of Talent Operations, this position will oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing enterprise Talent Operations initiatives and serve as liaison between the Communications team, the sector TA leadership, and the Corporate Talent team. This key role will focus on the improvement of communication strategies, strategic initiatives, and sector media demands. This person will help drive strategic initiatives and work closely with our Talent Acquisition Council on marketing and media strategies. The candidate will also take the lead in our media buy process that includes purchasing of our Resume Database Access, marketing partnerships, and act as a liaison between our sector marketing teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Often manages small projects, business processes or parts of larger ones

  • Drive operational cadence for TA operations in collaboration with the TA Ops leads and the TAC

  • Works with limited supervision recognizing when additional leadership guidance is needed

  • Partner with Communications and TA Council

  • Develop strong and trusting relationships with team members and clients by collaborating on resource needs, search strategies and talent development

  • Demonstrate business acumen and subject matter expertise on using the latest trends and technology

  • Accountable for team's overall process integrity and effectiveness by proactively measuring, reporting and improving results

  • Identifies opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of business processes

  • Achieves results against budget within scope of responsibility

  • Develop new and innovative ways to access untapped markets and partner cross-functionally to create robust marketing plans

  • Serve as a talent advisor for recruitment decisions with knowledge of the organization and expertise for external markets

  • Makes budget recommendations to support sector Talent objectives for respective team

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate strategic decisions

  • Collaborative project and program management experience

  • Experience working in a communication or project management role

  • Track record of managing and executing large-scale HR or business projects and initiatives with multi-level stakeholder groups

  • Dynamic and executive briefing skills

  • Adaptable communication skills and the ability to influence senior leaders and drive decision making

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous HR or TA operations experienced desired

  • Experience with training or agile or project management tools

  • 3 years’ experience in media, marketing and or communications recruiting role

  • Experience with data analysis and data-driven recommendations to yield results

Salary Range: $95,000 USD - $140,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
