Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cyber Security Policy Manager to coordinate the engagement of the NG cybersecurity team with external committees, DIB Community and to drive the team strategy and position with the CISO.  This role will assist in crafting and articulating the cybersecurity policy position for NG.

This role would be part of the greater Cyber Security leadership team.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as a leader in cyber policy and maintain a position as a well-respected thought leader in the community.

  • Represent, as well as personally engaging in relevant Government Coordinating Councils (GCCs), formal commissions and industry working groups

  • Expand Northrop Grumman’s footprint in the cyber community through active participation in new industry partnerships, public-private or memberships  

  • Maintain an active external presence as a recognized cyber leader

  • Coordinate Cybersecurity-focused activities and messaging with the Northrop Grumman Government Relations Organization and Northrop Grumman Communications Organization.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors’ Degree in relevant, technical or a related discipline

  • Demonstrated experience in the development of standards and PrOP

  • Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, Alteryx

  • Previous experience managing or leading a team and/or projects

  • Must have Cyber Security Policy experience, specifically related to DIB, NIST, & CMMC

  • Expertise in Cyber and Infrastructure Risk and Resilience Challenges

  • Previous experience with database management, visualization, and data analytics

  • Demonstrated ability to forge & maintain strategic partnerships with Industry/Associations

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a cybersecurity advisor in a Government Relations setting

  • Extensive experience in cybersecurity, federal network security and global cyber ecosystem resiliency

  • Masters’ Degree in business, statistics, analytics preferred

  • Effective communication, collaboration skills, strategic planning, and strategic communications

Salary Range: $108,700 USD - $163,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
