Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services is seeking a Security Coordinator; this will be an entry-level position and will be in Falls Church, VA.

Job Description:

  • Provides administrative duties in the purchase order, accounts payable, and financial reporting for Corporate and Enterprise Security

  • Processes invoices for purchasing orders, check requests, and other types of financial transactions promptly

  • Assists Executive Protection Security Manager with monthly expenditure reconciliation, reconciling vendor payments, checking for duplicate payments, and reviewing processed invoices to validate account distribution to avoid overspending and ensure that all transactions comply with policies.

  • Uses Microsoft Excel to prepare small sets of data for billing

  • Reviewing expenses, downloading and saving images of receipts, organizing to facilitate future use

  • Assisting and tracking regular reviews of vendor activities and supporting documents

  • Posting payments both electronically and manually, maintaining accurate billing records, and documenting revenue

  • Adjusting to the needs of Corporate and Enterprise Security Priorities

The position is in-person, with core office hours of 9 am – 3 pm in Falls Church, VA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with zero years of experience; OR an Associate’s degree with two years of experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with four years of experience is required

  • Strong computer experience and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel with a minimum of two years of working with data sets using pivot tables, macros, and Vlookup

  • Experience with Visual Basic and Application (VBA) for MS Office Tools

  • Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance within a reasonable time after hire is required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within the Security Industry

  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality is required for this position

  • Experience with Corporate and Enterprise security services

  • Bachelor’s degree with no experience in a related or unrelated field of study

  • Experience using SharePoint, SAP, iBuy, or 1ERP

  • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance

  • Certifications and specialized training in VBA

  • Ability and desire to dive into existing systems to learn how they work and look for opportunities to improve our utilization

  • Strong ability to process data and provide an accurate report to management

  • Able to work independently, self-prioritize, and collaborate with others as required

  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Positive and professional demeanor

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and verbal and written communication skills are required

  • A high level of discretion and confidentiality is required for this position

Salary Range: $46,100 USD - $76,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
