The Northrop Grumman Enterprise Services (ES) Sector is seeking a Director, Chief Data Analyst at their Falls Church, VA corporate office. The Director, Chief of Data Analytics is a member of the ES leadership team, reporting to the VP & CIO of the Next Gen Technology organization and will be responsible for shaping and implementing an ambitious vision for how data and analytics can advance the enterprise strategy and translate into exponential impact for members.  He/she will partner with the business to drive impact, leading the analytics team and building capabilities. The Director will act as the chief advocate and evangelist of data based decision making in the top leadership team and at the business unit management level.  The incumbent will lead the transformation of the company towards an analytically enabled organization. Additional responsibilities include: •    Advise the business leadership team on analytics value opportunities on an ongoing basis and translate business problems into specific analytics and technology enabled solutions 
•    Lead, build and develop a motivated Analytics core team; promote top talent in Analytics and at the interface of analytics, technology and business
•    Shape the hiring criteria and development programs of business leaders in order to increase the level of analytical literacy across the organization
•    Develop standards and processes for analytics solution development and implementation across all critical functions of the company
•    Shape the technology strategy together with the technology management team, specifically the data and analytics technology stack, critical workflows and channel infrastructure
•    Develop and implement strategic partnerships in the business, technology and academic field
•    Build a culture around data sharing, governance and hygiene while brining expertise and sensitivity to data security, risk and compliance
 

Basic Qualifications: In order to be considered, applicants must minimally possess the skills listed below: •    Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 15 years of progressive IT experience; 13 years with a Master’s degree 
•    Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of developments at the intersection of data science, technology and business relevant to the company and drive business innovation through Analytics
•    Proven understanding of statistics, structured and unstructured data analysis, predictive modeling techniques and data visualization as well as good command of emerging methodologies like Artificial Intelligence 
•    Recognized experience as a thought leader and innovator in the development of new tools, methodologies and problem solving approaches
•    Demonstrated understanding of latest Data Science, Analytics and Technology trends and their impact on business strategies and operations 
•    Experience engaging cross-functional teams to build a strong data infrastructure
•    Knowledge leading the ideation and design of campaigns across the analytics use cases and manages the KPIs and OKRs for end to end delivery 
•    Expert written communication skills, self-directed with preparation of board ready document and presentation development
  Preferred Qualifications: •    Articulate, persuasive, communicator, with the ability to effectively present to executive audiences. Skilled at defining, motivating and driving change at executive levels and across the broader community of stakeholders.
•    Leads with a member-first mindset, seeking to reimagine member and stakeholder experience
•    Passionate about technology and excited about the impact of emerging / disruptive technologies
•    Believes in a non-hierarchical culture of collaboration, transparency, safety, and trust 
•    Not afraid to “roll up the sleeves” and seeks to go outside comfort zone to learn – pushes teams to do the same
