Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, Our Defense Systems Sector wants you to join our Team as an Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician 3. This position is located at Lake Charles, LA.
You will become a part of our Maintenance and Fabrication Solutions located at Lake Charles, LA.
Your duties include:
Set up and operate various machines to include brake benders, hydraulic press, sanders, saws, shear and various hand tools.
Interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
Fabricate form blocks using drawings and samples.
Hand forming parts using drawings, form blocks and appropriate methods of fabrication.
Communicate with others about part dimensions, methods of fabrication, equipment usage and general shop requirements.
Personally monitor and verify dimensions and quality of parts.
Be willing to learn specialized processes
Keep work area neat and clean
Complete required paperwork accurately on a timely basis.
Basic qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of 4 years fabrication experience.
Knowledge of basic computer skills
Ability to obtain a Security Clearance should the Program requirements change.
