Northrop Grumman Tactical Space Systems sector is looking for a highly motivated Principal Manufacturing Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at the Gilbert, Arizona location. 

Job Duties:

  • Gilbert AZ Site software administrator that maintains, troubleshoots and provides technical support to personnel in the manufacturing floor (e.g., engineers, quality, planners, technicians, and managers) for implementation, management and administration of business-related software.
  • With some supervision, tests new software updates and develops a deep understanding of its features and capabilities and manage how the system gets integrated within business operations/processes at the Gilbert site.
  • Develops and maintains training documents/curriculum, guidelines or common practices, and conducts new-hire training in group settings or individually.
  • Communicates system news/updates to the user groups using various formats (i.e., phone, email, IM, teleconference/Skype).
  • Works with other NG site representatives and Information Services (IS) to test and develop the system. Understands the interface with other business systems (i.e., Costpoint, TipQA)
  • Manages data and understands the business value of data-driven manufacturing and digital transformation.
  • Follow ups with new user accounts and requests to push them to completion. Maintains accounts and works with other departments that support the software.
  • Software and Programs to be Supported: Solumina Costpoint MES (Manufacturing Execution System), Costpoint, Deltek Shop Floor Time, Synchrono and SycView Manufacturing, setting up Tableau for data analysis and automated reporting. Other software and systems as the business defines.
  • This position is not related to data warehousing or database management. This position seeks a site representative to implement existing products and systems at the Gilbert, AZ site.


Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in computer/information systems, engineering or related field.
  • Works under minimal supervision and possess strong communication skills.
  • Experience in process improvements and/or design of experiments (DOE)
  • Exemplary communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and analytical troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Min 5 years of experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment
  • Knowledge in Solumina or Solumina Costpoint MES, Costpoint, Shop Floor Time, Synchrono, Tableau
  • Knowledge in Costpoint (ERP), Windchill (PLM), TipQA, and/or Sharepoint

Salary Range: $80,000 USD - $100,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
