Job Description
Northrop Grumman Space Systems – Missile Defense Solutions (LMDS) is seeking a Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Programs 3 to join its team of qualified, diverse professionals engaged in supporting dynamic, and exciting programs. The successful applicant will become a part of Northrop Grumman’s Space System, Missile Defense Systems for Global Supply Chain in either Huntsville, Alabama or Promontory, Utah.

This role support all business units across Launch and Missile Defense Systems Division (LMDS) operations, which includes Launch Vehicles, Propulsion Systems, and Missile Defense Systems Business Units (BUs) and will oversee a team of government reporting, compliance and audit specialists and directly manage a group of cost/price analysts. Additionally, the selected candidate will have the ability to work on strategy development, internal process improvements, and work to drive efficient GSC operations alignment between the BUs to ensure compliance with company processes and procedures.
The candidate will work to drive efficiencies through tools and business systems, including developing a robust compliance support process, creation of BU-centric training plans, and implementing programs designed to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies. This position supports all business units across this division in developing and implementing a strategic path and execution of governance (policy, procedure, work instructions, processes, etc.), while maintaining execution agility. This position also interfaces with and gets guidance from Space Sector compliance teams in order to translate updates to processes to the business units.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience in Global Supply Chain, Business Management, Program Management; OR Master's degree 7 years of experience
Understanding of U.S. Government regulations, including Cost Accounting Standards, FAR and Agency FAR supplements
Minimum of 3 years in a formal lead/management position
Full working knowledge of processes and activities within supply chain related operations and/or compliance such as regulatory compliance, MRP/ERP systems and performance, international supply chain, operational excellence and supply base diversity.
Ability to interpret and apply company policies & procedures that address compliance.
Well-developed oral and written communication skills to successfully work across functions and programs at various levels and disciplines.
Ability to lead and work effectively in cross-functional, cross-Sector teams.
Strong Microsoft aptitude (Excel and PowerPoint)

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off
