This role is a F-35 GSC Program Manager and will be responsible, accountable and have the authority for the operational efficiency, strategy, planning and execution of Global Supply Chain (GSC) material and services requirements for the F-35 Program. Responsible as a main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire GSC functional homeroom, supply chain and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all GSC commitments are met and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks, issues and/or opportunities related to GSC and the suppliers. Develop the material strategy and leads the activities for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP). Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, incorporation of make/buy plans, Risks, Issues and Opportunity action plans, integrated Affordability strategies and procurement and subcontracts strategies.
This role as the Director F-35 Global Supply Chain Program Management is also responsible for the following:
- Lead Matrixed organization of approximately 300 employees
- Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for the F-35 program
- Manage supplier relationships and support negotiations for major subcontract and large procurement suppliers
- Coordinate planning, budget management and execution of supplier events for the F-35 program
- Supplier contract negotiations with the prime customer
- Total Cost Management of GSC budget allocations by contract
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years (8+ years with Master’s) of experience leading supply chain program execution and/or program management including strategy, planning and execution of programs
- Minimum of 4 years management experience with a proven record of leading multi-functional integrated product teams
- Experience directing multi-million-dollar programs
- Experience in aerospace/defense industry
- Ability and obtain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in government acquisitions
- Masters of Business Administration
- Masters of Science in Supply Chain
- International Business Experience
- Agile training
