Develops subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and/or services. Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, negotiates subcontract provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, writes awards, and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates and coordinates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Participates with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures.
This position will be filled at either the Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist or the Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist. It will also be worked in the Woodland Hills, CA facility with a hybrid option.
Basic Qualifications Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist
Current career break of at least 2 years
Bachelors or Master’s Degree from an accredited institution
3+ years with Bachelors or 1+ years with Masters of professional experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, or manufacturing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Professional experience in regulated industry
Earned Value Management (EV)
SAP experience
Basic Qualifications Principal Supply Chain Subcontract Specialist
Current career break of at least 2 years
Bachelors or Master’s Degree from an accredited institution
6+ years with Bachelors or 4+ years with Masters of professional experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, or manufacturing.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
Professional experience in regulated industry
Earned Value Management (EV)
SAP experience
