Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of exempt and non-exempt employees, who are responsible for the tracking, receiving, stocking, kitting, issuing, shipping, preservation and issue of parts supporting various production programs to include chemical management and issue.
- As the Global Supply Chain focal point, Develop and Execute the strategy for Global Supply Chain Goods Movement and Logistics operations in support of multiple Site production programs, affordability targets, schedule performance, and first-time quality.
- Leads team that has mission statement to support all Production goals and objectives through the accurate tracking, receiving, stocking, kitting, issuing parts, shipping, preservation, chemical management and issue, with a strong focus on safety and cost efficiency.
- Leads the supply chain team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Train and guide employees to ensure alignment with all Northrop Grumman Values.
- Identify cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes that result in cost reduction or improved cycle time.
- Will collaborate with various programs & sites on projects related to material receipt, storage, issue and transportation.
- Lead, coordinate, and collaborate with internal and external customers, including local, state, federal, and international agencies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in support of Aeronautics Sector programs.
- Directs team activities associated with program transportation, storage, and material handling requirements, including major deliveries (classified and unclassified), and specialty movements as they relate to transportability.
- Supports overseas, domestic and international traffic activities to ensure schedule adherence, transportation scheduling, inbound/outbound adequacy of the packaging and preservation plans.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have 5 years of experience in Management with a bachelor’s degree; 3+ years with a master’s degree; 9 years of management experience in lieu of a degree
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
- Must have xxperience in an inventory warehouse environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in Global Supply Chain management with a bachelor’s degree; 3+ years with a master’s degree; 9 years of management experience in lieu of a degree
- Significant experience conducting oral presentations to senior leadership
- Prior Management experience in a warehouse environment
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a professional attitude
