Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Field Technician Lead/ Deployment Team Lead. This position will be located in Great Falls, MT and will support the Ground Subsystems Support Contract (GSSC) program Launch Control Block Upgrade (LCCBU) Production & Deployment program.

What You’ll Get To Do: 

The Deployment Team Lead for the LCCBU Production and Deployment program is responsible for the demolition and deployment tasks necessary to install new components in support of the Minuteman ICBM mission.  In addition, Team Leads will work in the warehouse supervising and performing support activities when not deploying to a Launch Control Center.  A Team Lead will supervise and perform receiving, inventory control, warehouse activities, component assembly activities and pre-deployment activities during non-deployment weeks.

• Supervises field technicians.

• Monitors bench stock, supplies and critical equipment.

• Complies with safety and security policies/procedures while on site.

• Maintains and ensures compliance with tech data.

• Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment

• Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems

• Works from engineering drawings, technical manuals and written or verbal instructions

• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format

• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; maintain maintenance records

• Maintains CPR, adult first aid certification.

• Updates team lead and QA of any site discrepancies.

• Operates vehicles and equipment

• Assists with other responsibilities as assigned. (e.g Security, administrative, etc)

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.  

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Field Technician 3 level: A minimum of High School diploma and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.

• Field Technician 4 level: A minimum of High School diploma and 6 years additional education and/or related experience.

• Demonstrated experience with MS Office suite of tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

• Must have U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain Secret level clearance.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Active Top Secret security clearance with adjudication in the last 6 years.

• Field experience in the Minuteman Weapon System.

• Demonstrated aptitude with Electro-Mechanical systems, age sensitive materials, HVAC systems, ICBM missile security systems, etc.

• 5+ years of ICBM experience.

• CPR, adult first aid certification.

Salary Range: $48,600 USD - $81,000 USD

Salary Range 2: $57,800 USD - $96,300 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
