Northrop Grumman's Enterprise Services organization is seeking a Software Developer to join the Enterprise Solutions, Full Stack Development Team.

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic, people-focused environment where they will interact with colleagues, customers, and users to successfully achieve high quality, valued outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deliver and maintain software design and development solutions using Microsoft Visual Studio (utilizing .NET Core C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS), Python, Django, MERN and supporting technologies as applicable

  • Perform object-oriented design and API driven development with appropriate use of design patterns like MVC, Vertical Slices and CQRS

  • Learn, work and participate in Agile-driven software development using Scrum and/or Kanban

  • Assist colleagues in the development of new custom solutions and/or upgrading current solutions following the software development lifecycle

Job Level Qualification Requirements

  • 0+ years of software development experience with a Bachelor's degree in Science

Basic Qualifications:

A successful candidate must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline with a 3.0 minimum GPA

  • Web-based software development experience

  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance

  • Ability to learn and use new technologies and software development disciplines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio or other IDE environments

  • Experience with .NET and/or .NET Core development framework utilizing C# 

  • Experience developing with Python and Django

  • Experience developing with the MERN stack

  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle or cloud-native databases  

  • Knowledge of Agile software development methodologies

  • Excellent presentation and writing/communications kills

  • Self-motivated, desire to continue learning, and able to contribute to a high-performing team

  • Leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities

  • Exposure to, or working knowledge of, any of the following technologies: Automated Testing, Team Foundation Server, Git, Cloud (AWS, Azure), Entity Framework, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, MERN, etc.


Salary Range: $58,800 USD - $88,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
