Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a CAD Operator 4 This position will be located at Hill AFB, UT and will support the Ground Subsystems Support Contract (GSSC) program.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) team supporting the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure. The selected candidate will work in a dynamic people-focused environment where he/she will interact with users, customers and other engineers.
The successful applicant will:
•             Use Teamcenter PLM for document management.
•             Design new tools and equipment in conjunction with our engineering team.
•             Prepare presentations and reports to brief Northrop Grumman and Air Force leadership on the status of our drawing and design efforts.
•             Dynamically engage with AF customers to meet their needs and provide them with needed insight for sustainment of the ICBM weapon system.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications: 
•             Minimum of a high school diploma and 6 years additional education and/or related experience. •             US Citizen able to obtain a Secret clearance. •             Create solid models using NX, Solidworks, and other solid modeling software.   •             Produce and check CAD drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.100 and Air Force or Northrop Grumman Command Media.

Preferred Qualifications: 
•             Active Secret clearance. •             2+ years of experience with ICBM weapon system engineering and integration. •             Familiarity with USAF Drawing practices and configuration management. •             Strong written communication skills. •             Dynamic personality for customer interactions
