Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Property/Asset Management Analyst to coordinate property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, and company property in accordance with applicable government regulations and/or corporate policy. This position is located in Huntsville, Alabama.

Essential Functions:

  • Asset identification by tagging newly acquired customer/company assets and creating accountable records.
  • Conducting and coordinating physical inventories
  • Updating and maintaining property accountability records
  • Collaborate with other departments to assist in resolving inquiries and issues that pertain to the asset life cycle from acquisition through disposition and contract closeout
  • Determine condition of assets and arrange for disposal
  • Assist in contractor self-assessment audits
  • Coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure processes are performed and documentation is maintained as required by NGDS Procedures and USG FAR regulations
  • Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret data for reporting purposes
  • Able to work in both external and internal environmental conditions
  • Additional assignments/tasks may be given to assist other team members as necessary

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 6 years of asset management or inventory experience, or a Master’s degree with 4 year of stated experience, or 9 years of stated experience in lieu of degree
  • Must have a active DoD Secret Clearance, awarded/reviewed within the last 5 years, and the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
  • Knowledge of FAR Part 52, and property related DFARS with ability to interpret and formulate independent judgement
  • Experience supporting and/or performing compliance audits including Property Management System Analysis (PMSA)
  • National Property Management Association (NPMA) certification
  • Ability to interpret and formulate independent judgment based on federal regulations – FAR 52.245-1 and applicable DFARS
  • Experience with industry leading best practices, techniques and standards as they pertain to property and asset management

Salary Range: 69100 - 103700

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
