Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Facilities is seeking a customer service oriented Administrative Functional Support 3 level team member to support the Facilities team.  The selected individual will report to the Sr. Facilities Manager and will utilize SAP and Open Text, Outlook, Ibuy, Maintenance connection and Archibus to support the Defense Division Facilities team.

This role will require a regular on site presence to our office in Huntsville Alabama

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Timely and accurate approval of Supplier Invoices and potentially assisting with responses to external and internal customer inquiries
  • Excellent customer service
  • Have the ability to research and resolve customer questions with limited or no supervision
  • The ability to multitask and work independently to meet service delivery agreements
  • Support the Sr. Facilities Manager by assisting with research and their internal customer inquiries
  • Provide analytical support by providing reports and analysis to management on a regular basis
  • Complete special projects as assigned ​across a geographically disbursed team


Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have High School Degree and 4 years equivalent experience
  • Accounts Payable and/or Imaging experience a must
  • Intermediate skills in excel and thorough knowledge of other Microsoft applications including Word; Outlook; One Note etc
  • Ability to assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations given to upper management.
  • Excellent Customer service skills including critical thinking
  • Strong attention to detail and accounting orientation with the ability to manage time and multiple tasks as appropriate throughout the day
  • Track funding remaining on Capital projects and Blanket Purchase Orders
  • Must have the ability to obtain a DOD (Department of Defense) secret level clearance
  • Must have the ability to work on site in Huntsville Alabama

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SAP and Open Text
  • Knowledge of A/P processing and capital project generation.
  • Accounts Payable invoice processing knowledge/experience
  • Working knowledge of Maintenance Connection
  • Able to input expense reports into Concur
  • Working knowledge of Archibus employee tracking database.
  • Assist in compiling weekly, monthly leadership status reports.

Salary Range: $45,600 USD - $76,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
