Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal/Sr. Principal Engineer Systems based out of Huntsville, Alabama on the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Battle Command System (IBCS) foreign military sales efforts. IBCS integrates disparate radars and weapons to construct a far more effective IAMD enterprise. IBCS delivers a single integrated air picture with unprecedented accuracy and broadens surveillance and protection areas. By implementing IBCS into their militaries, other nations will transform their IAMD capabilities in a manner consistent with the U.S. Army.
NGDS Engineer Systems perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Basic Qualifications:
Principal: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
Sr. Principal: 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD
Requirements and Interface definition experience
System analysis experience
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Active Secret Clearance, or ability to obtain one
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical experience with IAMD: C2 with understanding of weapons, sensors, distributed computing and these systems' impact on a command and control system's architecture, requirements, and interfaces for communications between these systems
