Deputy Deployment/Deployment Operations Manager

 

Northrop Grumman, Defense Systems is looking for a Deployment Operations Manager (Manager Project Management 1) to support the Combat Systems and Mission Readiness Division.  The primary duties of this position are to assist the Deployment Manager in managing the daily operations required to support OCONUS deployed force protection systems.  The responsibilities include hiring, training, and deploying personnel to install and maintain critical force protection systems at forward locations.  The candidate will also assist in overseeing and managing the personnel’s daily workload to ensure all systems remain fully mission capable.   The candidate will assist in managing obsolescence management and sparing management of supported systems. This position may be required to travel up to 25% of the time to include theaters of operation.

Basic Qualifications

•     Bachelor’s Degree

·       Active security clearance

·       5+ years supporting OCONUS personnel deployed to multiple Theater of Operations

·       5+ years managing the installation, sustainment, and maintenance of Force Protections

·       Strong communications skills both written and verbal

·       Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams

 

Preferred Qualification 

·       Previously deployed and supported (installation, modifications, and sustainment) Operational Systems at forward deployed locations

·       Working knowledge of FAAD C2 and/or CUAS systems

·       Working knowledge of network devices (radios, routers, switches)

·       Experience in working in Agile environment – Product Owner or Scrum Master credentials a plus

·       Military Veteran with leadership roles and deployment experience


Salary Range: $89,800 USD - $134,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
