Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Project Execution Manager to join our Initial Maneuver - Short Range Air Defense (IM-SHORAD) Program Management Team in the C4 Missile Defense Business Unit's SHORAD Tactical Operations Centers (TOCs) Business Area (BA).

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives in alignment with PM and BA priorities.

- Serve as support to the Program Manager (PM), assume roles of DOA for the PM in his/her absence.

- Proactively identify potential program risks and resource choke points and develop executable solutions to avoid them.

- Oversee all status and timely reporting across program functional areas to include reporting requirements, IPRS, dashboards, metrics, MMR, and organizational milestones and processes.

- Liaison between PM and functional staff to ensure resources are focused on PM priorities and support the program's operational goals/objectives.

- Support PM in all aspects of program financial reporting and projections, to include EVMS.

- Serve as CAM for all PM functional areas.

This position will be located in Huntsville, AL.

Basic Qualifications:

· Must have 19 years of experience in lieu of degree. Will consider: Bachelor Degree with Minimum 15+ years of related experience, or 13+ years with MS degree.

·Experience in cost, schedule, EVMS, and performance management of company programs.

·Strong analytical and operational planning competencies; innovative thinker.

·Demonstrated team player with ability to work in a dynamic changing environment.

·Excellent interpersonal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to interact with and influence executive level management and communicate effectively (oral and written presentations).

·Must be able to work onsite in Huntsville, Alabama

·Must have the ability to obtain Active DoD Secret security clearance.

·Must be able to travel 10% or more.

Preferred Qualifications:

·At least 2 years in a Project Management/Lead role on a $2M+ government program that encompasses systems, networks, and logistics.

·Experience with Northrop Grumman Huntsville Manufacturing Center (HMC) processes and procedures.

·Experience with the Defense Community customers and a strong understanding of Army maneuver and air defense organization, structure and operation.

·Proven documented history of executing program review sessions with customers to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.

·Experience with Cost Account Management.

·Program management experience where Northrop Grumman HMC and bill of material makes up over 50% of program requirements.

·Documented experience with Northrop Grumman financial systems and reporting processes.

·Strong understanding of Northrop Grumman policies and procedures.

·Strong understanding of Contractual Engineering Task requirements.

Salary Range: $117,200 USD - $175,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
