Are you ready to join Northrop Grumman? If so, put your experience to work as a member of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) technical staff. The position supports the US Army IBCS, which is a ground transportable, tactical integrated air and missile defense command and control system. Put your experience to work as a Field Service Technician (FST) to assist with the implementation and execution of worldwide Field Service operations supporting the US Army customer foreign military sales (FMS) case, Poland.

This position is located in Huntsville, Alabama with possible relocation to Warsaw Poland at equipment fielding in mid-year 2023. The Principal Field Technician role requires Security+ and Linux+ certifications within six months from the date of assignment to IA/IT roles.

Duties include:

• Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time
• Installs upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change
• Maintains effective customer communications and relations
• Provide on-site training of customer support personnel
• Must be comfortable interacting with all military ranks from the newest soldier to the experienced leader
• Research repair history
• Performs calibrations, preventative maintenance and certification of equipment

This position requires extended travel to multiple CONUS/OCONUS locations including Poland.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 year’s additional education or related experience
• Active Secret Security Clearance preferred; interim Secret Security Clearance required
• US citizenship required
• Perform a variety of maintenance and technical support on equipment, integrated systems, subsystems and software at customer and/or field locations
• Troubleshoot and diagnoses malfunctions and affect repair
• Install, operate, maintain, repair and modify equipment
• Installs upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change
• Coordinate and process material returns with unit level logistics
• Maintain effective customer communications and relationships
• Provide on-site training of customer operator, maintainer and support personnel
• Ensures solutions are consistent with WISŁA IBCS objective
• Possess experience with Air Defense Systems
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in analyzing and evaluating products and related performance, comprehending, analyzing complete problems and developing solutions
• Experience working with IBCS system of systems
• Experience conducting product briefings effectively with customer and vendors
• Possess a wide and comprehensive understanding with all aspects of the job and practical applications to complex problems and situations
• Experience working with established processes and procedures, train, assign and check work for other technicians
• Experience leading technical teams to accomplish time critical tasks/events
• Experience with asset management software
• Experience with Air Defense Tactical Operations
• Experience with training developments and training execution
• Ability to speak Polish

Salary Range: $54,000 USD - $90,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
