Are you ready to join Northrop Grumman? If so, put your experience to work as a member of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System (IBCS) technical staff. The position supports the US Army IBCS, which is a ground transportable, tactical integrated air and missile defense command and control system. Put your experience to work as a Military Trainer to assist with the implementation and execution of worldwide training operations supporting the US Army customer foreign military sales case, Poland.

This position is located in Huntsville, Alabama with possible relocation to Warsaw Poland at equipment fielding in early to mid-year 2023.

Duties include:

  • Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment
  • Establishes calibration requirements for filed systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks
  • Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers
  • Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy

This position requires extended travel to multiple CONUS/OCONUS locations including Poland. The Principal Military Trainer role requires Security+ and Linux+ certifications within six months from the date of assignment to IA/IT roles.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree with 6 years’ experience – Master’s Degree with 4 years’ experience
  • Possess experience with Air Defense Systems
  • Ability to Travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Possess a complete understanding of technical applications in the field
  • Provides training schedules and agenda
  • Determines Course content and objectives
  • Possess exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Considered an expert in the field within the organization
  • Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Liaison represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects
  • Provides consulting expertise to military or defense clients in the development and evaluation of military training and doctrine
  • Specialized expertise in planning and executing some or all phases of military training exercises
  • Expertise with scenario development, and After-Action Review (AAR) and analysis
  • Team-up with soldiers’ instructors and/or civilian instructors when necessary
  • Implement train-the-trainer curriculum in support of unit sustainment training
  • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
  • Develop and deliver presentations

Salary Range: $69,300 USD - $103,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
