Are you ready to join Northrop Grumman? If so, put your experience to work as an Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) material/process staff. The position supports the US Army IBCS, which is a ground transportable, tactical integrated air and missile defense command and control system. Put your experience to work as a Logistics Engineer to assist with the implementation and execution of worldwide Engineer Logistics operations supporting the US Army customer foreign military sales case, Poland

This position is in Huntsville, Alabama for training purposes but will be relocated to Warsaw Poland 2023.

Duties include:

  • Warehouse/Maintenance facility management principles

  • Handles inventory, process orders, plan warehouse layouts and help design product packaging to maximize shipping efficiency

  • Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks

  • Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment

  • Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers

  • Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy

  • Supports the development of maintenance engineering

  • Assists in the review of the official Statement of Work and clearly defines program needs and execution

  • Familiar with the management of Resource Load Planning, Estimate at Complete, and the Integrated Master Schedule

  • Supports IPT leadership with the management of material work packages in support of spares

  • Conduct spares analysis and repair parts demand forecasting

  • Provides valued input to proposal efforts

  • Technical knowledge with the Catalog Ordering Logistics Training Systems (COLTS) database

  • Directs the work of Logistics Management Analyst

  • Determines logistics support requirements-facility details, staffing needs, safety or maintenance plans

  • Coordinate Bill of Materials (BOMs) requirements and procurement with Material Planning

  • Constructs the most streamlined, efficient method of product distribution possible

  • Supports Return Material Authorization (RMA) workflow

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree with a minimum of 9 years, 7 years with a Masters, 4 years with PhD

  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings

  • Guide the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally

  • Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance

  • Represent the organization as the prime technical contact on contracts and projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of IBCS Major End Items (MEIs) and equipment

  • Experience with Integrated Product Support technical developments

  • Experience with Asset Management Software – SAP is a plus

  • Expert in Catalog Ordering Logistics Training Systems (COLTS) database

  • Ability to effectively Interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations

  • Ability to speak Polish

  • Hazard material certified

  • Lean Six Sigma training

  • Ability to safely utilized motorized and manual lifting equipment

  • Experience with air and missile defense systems and sub-systems materials

  • Experience with Air Defense Tactical Operations

Salary Range: $85,900 USD - $128,900 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
