Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Military Trainer to join our team of qualified, diverse professionals located in Huntsville, AL. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Training and Training Development Team.  Primary responsibilities for this job involves delivering instruction to military defense clients on the operation, administration, and maintenance of C-RAM and C-UAS operating systems.  Responsible for assisting in the development of training products i.e. training material, computer based training (CBT) modules, Training Aids, Devices, Simulators and Simulation (TADSS) products. Writes detailed reports summarizing the outcome of classroom and field training exercises and makes suggestions on improvement to training services and products. Assist in the accountability  and maintenance Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Property (GFP). 

Basic Qualifications:

High school graduate with seven years of experience in a military training environment. Will also consider three years experience with a Bachelors degree; 1 year with Masters degree;   Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision; experience with military academic instructor at the individual and collective levels; strong technical background networking functionality; current Secret Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working with the C-RAM and C-UAS; Military Instructor Certification; five or more years of documented experience operating and maintaining C-RAM and C-UAS systems in an operational environment; deployed experience is a plus; experience delivering instructions in the classroom and field environments.


Salary Range: $56,300 USD - $84,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
