Are you ready to join Northrop Grumman?  Put your experience to work as a Military Trainer / Principal Military Trainer to assist with the implementation and execution of worldwide training operations supporting US Army and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. The position location is Huntsville, AL.

The position supports Domestic and International IBCS, a ground transportable, tactical integrated air and missile defense command and control system. This position is located in Huntsville, Alabama with possible relocation to Warsaw Poland at equipment fielding in early to mid-year 2023.

Duties include:

  • Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment
  • Establishes calibration requirements for filed systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks
  • Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers
  • Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy
  • This position requires extended travel to multiple CONUS/OCONUS locations including Poland. The Principal Military Trainer role requires Security+ and Linux+ certifications within six months from the date of assignment to IA/IT roles.

This position can be filled by either a Military Trainer or Principal Military Trainer

Basic Qualifications:

  • Level 2: 3 years of experience and a Bachelors’ degree. 1 year of experience and a Masters’ degree.  4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Level 3: 6 years of experience and a Bachelors’ degree. 4 years’ experience with a Masters’ degree. 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Liaison represents organization as a prime contact on contracts or projects
  • Provides consulting expertise to military or defense clients in the development and evaluation of military training and doctrine
  • Specialized expertise in planning and executing some or all phases of military training exercises
  • Expertise with scenario development, and After-Action Review (AAR) and analysis
  • Team-up with soldiers’ instructors and/or civilian instructors when necessary
  • Implement train-the-trainer curriculum in support of unit sustainment training
  • Interacts with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations
  • Develop and deliver presentations

Salary Range: $1 USD - $1 USD
Salary Range 2: $1 USD - $1 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
