The Software Test Engineer designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment required for testing and evaluating in a cyber environment. Cyber Test analyses is performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies other Cyber tests to be performed. Responsible for Cyber testing all customer samples and special tests.
The successful candidate with have the ability to analyze requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct the data collection and analysis, and report status and results. Other activities may include:
• Develop & implement Test Plans for development
• Analyze and vet stakeholder requirements
• Demonstrate & explain test approach & results
• Research and recommend automated test tools
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to analyze requirements and concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures.
14 years of applicable experience with a BS Degree or 18 years of total applicable experience without a BS Degree
A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience writing test scripts/procedures from requirements, executing tests, reporting test results
Experience with establishing automated test environment including install and configuration of testing tools
