Sagittarius Ground has an opening for a Senior Principal Computer Systems Architect with expert knowledge of ground infrastructure requirements and specific automation techniques. This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA.
Core duties include reviewing, understanding and designing automation techniques to address a wide range of infrastructure requirements. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automation for both Infrastructure as Code and cyber hardening/patching. The selected candidate will offer senior engineering advice, lead others in the development of cyber mitigations and communicate with program leadership on project status.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 7 years of relevant experience; PhD with 4 years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance
- Ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP/SAR) clearance (if required by the customer) within 365 days of required paperwork submission
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Classified Windows/Linux Domains
- Experience with VMWare implementation, migration, and maintenance
- Experience with NetApp and implementation, migration, and maintenance
- Experience with system design and architecture
- Experience operating under and managing systems within current applicable information systems compliance standards
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 security certification required on Day 1; certification must be maintained
- Experience managing a wide array of senior technical engineers and managers
- Experience in technical judgment
- Experience working as part of an Agile development environment
- STEM degree
