Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Manager for our Data Team to join our growing efforts in support of a large program that supports repair efforts. The selected candidate will lead a team of Data Analysts directly under the Program in Warner Robins, Georgia.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Provides direction and leadership to a team of data analysts who are responsible for different elements and systems while meeting the program commitments. Self-motivated, highly organized and detail oriented. Proactive and responsive with an internally generated "sense of urgency". Plan and direct the work of other IT professionals, including computer systems analysts, software developers, information security analysts, and computer support specialists.
Monitor and analyze information and data systems and evaluate their performance to discover ways of enhancing them (new technologies, upgrades etc.)
Evaluating system functionality and user needs to ensure system meets them.
Evaluating the design, selection, and implementation of database changes by comparing them with business requirements and design documents
Assessing system performance and making recommendations for hardware, software, and data storage improvements
Learn about new technology and look for ways to upgrade organization’s computer systems
Overseeing the integration of new technologies and initiatives into data standards and structures
Reviewing presentations, manuscripts, graphs, and tables to ensure accuracy and quality
Writing technical documentation and training material for the company’s computer systems.
Developing standards of operation when handling and archiving data
Troubleshoot data-related problems and authorize maintenance or modifications.
Basic Qualifications:
Candidates must have: A High School Diploma/GED and 9 years experience with a variety of data systems; A Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience, an Associates Degree with 7 years related experience, or a Masters degree and 3 years related experience will also be considered.
Demonstrated success in leading teams or projects
Demonstrated ability to gather and analyze data and provide executable plans to resolve complex issues arising from the findings
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) and coding in
US citizen and ability to obtain a DOD Secret Security Clearance.
Required to obtain/maintain access to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in statistical and mathematical material modeling techniques with the ability to analyze large amounts of data for developing projections and estimates.
Bachelors Degree or higher with a minimum of 5 years management experience
Experience with systems such as Power BI and SAP S4 Hanna
