Northrop Grumman Space Systems (NGSP) is seeking a Systems Software Analyst to join our Global Supply Chain team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position is FT remote. The selected candidate will be a functional member of the NGSP 1ERP Level 2 System team directly interacting with system users and NGSP GSC Leadership. This team manages daily operational access, training, and support of sector computer systems and supporting sector business needs and systems requirements at the enterprise level. This position requires leadership and organizational focus. Roles and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Develops computer system specifications that address business requirements that fit with the company’s system architecture standards.
Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintains a more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements and storage.
Applies technical expertise in 1ERP systems, including blueprint, situational testing / data clean up (SIT/MOCK), implementation of projects and related 1ERP data mapping.
Able to work without appreciable direction. Candidate must understand new S/4HANA concept and objectives and possess a very strong understanding of SAP functionality and the required interface with the Space Systems (SP) business model to ensure no operational impacts.
Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Requires a working knowledge of the business model and how it relates to other sectors’ business models for enterprise level systems interactions.
Guides the successful completion of major programs in a member role. Candidate must have a general understanding of programs to ensure that all sector needs are adequately represented and supported without unnecessary cost implications.
Manage development and coordination of various training guides and educational communications.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to quickly respond to 1ERP issues with solutions to ensure system users have no operational impacts.
Basic Qualifications:
One of the following:
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of related technical experience
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years related technical experience
Master’s degree
The ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Overall SAP and S/4HANA GSC system process knowledge.
SAP Level 2 Super User experience including PLSC2 and SAP S/4 PR/PO.
Preferred Qualifications:
Agile SAFE certification.
Ability to interface with all levels of employees, key stakeholders, and management.
Process improvement experience. Ability to maintain current business processes while developing, streamlining, harmonizing, and adopting new technology and system solutions for continuous improvement.
Salary Range: $79,300.00 - $118,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
