Together with our group of experts across the technical spectrum, you’ll discover opportunities to make a difference   Northrop Grumman is in need of Security Forces Armory to join our diverse team in Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar.  Roles and Responsibilities:  • Manage the accountability and protection of firearms, munitions, communications equipment, and related assets • Oversee armorers and establishes SOP for the armory • Responsible for forecasting and receiving all munitions needed • Scheduling of armory personnel and oversees training of armorers • Contractor personnel shall be responsible for cleaning of unassigned weapons •  Participates in weekly meetings / teleconferences as required • Maintains accountable item inventory and up-to-date parts inventory for ease of distribution • Monitors and assists with munitions accounts for SF armories within AoR • Validates munitions forecast changes and reviews Out-of-Cycle requests for approval

Basic Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or equivalent with 6 years experience
  • Secret Security Clearance
  • 5 years’ experience  Air Force Armorer or similar exp
      
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Combat Arms Supervisor Course
  • M18 Pistol Armorer Certified
  • Familiarity with ARIS
  • Familiarity of shipping and receiving weapons and parts through TMO
  • Knowledgeable in the concepts and principles of Air Base Ground Defense. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Results-oriented and resilient outlook
  • Strong relationship-building, managerial, and collaborative skills
  • Possess or be able to obtain a current U.S. Passport
  •  7-skill level under the USAF Combat Arms program.
