Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking self-motivated, Aircraft Maintenance Shift Supervisor for the Republic of Korea (ROK) Global Hawk (GH) Program in Sacheon, South Korea. Candidates will apply maintenance knowledge, skills, and techniques too effectively lead this high profile program. Responsible for daily maintenance operations for a fleet of on-station Global Hawk Aircraft and associated systems.
Accountable for the maintenance servicing and repairing of aircraft, aircraft engines, and payload to ensure that aircraft are in good mechanical condition and safe for flight. Responsible for the direct supervision of staff, assignment of work, schedules and technical performance of combined staff consisting of direct, non-exempt employees; a customer provided work force i.e. semi-skilled, trainees from the Republic of Korea Air Force; and field service representatives for payload and communications sub-systems. Releases aircraft for flight. Recommends procedure changes to improve maintainability of aircraft and timely inspections.
Ensures trained professionals on site launch, recovery and perform designated maintenance tasks. Attend daily meetings, suggests CANN/MICAP actions, prioritize maintenance efforts, assist with master scheduling and make mission essential determinations. Recommend procedural changes to improve maintainability of aircraft and timely inspections. Reviews aircraft status, manages schedules and prepares status reports. Manages personnel to include work schedules, paid time off, approves time cards and request for personnel change requests, and unique OCONUS pay and personnel actions necessary to maintain a steady workforce. Liaisons with and works closely with ROKAF personnel to ensure all mission objectives and schedules are met.
Leads multi-crafted maintenance teams in troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues of the ROK GH System. System includes airframe, electronics, communications and sensors. Additionally, oversees ground control element and support elements for the unmanned aircraft system (UAS). Performs highly advanced troubleshooting, provides subject matter expertise to reach-back engineers in development of engineering change request (ECR) and system modifications. Implements ECR, tests changes and analyzes test reports. Supervises aircraft system modifications to improve aircraft reliability. Consults with reach-back engineers, communications and sensor field engineers and customer/end user (USAF/ROKAF) maintenance management team. Directly supervises work tailored from established procedures to resolve highly complex, technical problems. Employee provides mentorship and supervisory advice-consultation to the end user/ customer on matters of employee development and operational compliance.

Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED with 6 years leadership/management experience
- Experienced working Global Hawk maintenance programs
- US Secret Clearance Required
- Working knowledge of maintenance databases i.e. IMDS/CAMS
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
- Able to commit to a 2 year overseas assignment
- FAA Airframe and Power plant (A&P) or FCC (GROL) with Radar Endorsement License desired
- Expert knowledge of maintenance databases i.e. IMDS/CAMS
- U.S. Air Force / U.S. military maintenance experience at OCONUS locations
- Willingness to work after hours and weekends as required
