Aircraft Mechanic 4 (Korea)

Northrop Grumman Technology Services is seeking self-motivated, hard-working full-time Aircraft Mechanic 4 for the ROK Global Hawk Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) Program in Sacheon, Republic of Korea. The selected candidates will perform maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various vehicle systems in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions and applicable regulations.
Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Maintains applicable required records, manuals and inspection forms.  Recommends corrective actions and resolves problems using technical publications and analytic techniques.  Removes repairs and replaces malfunctioning components.
Prepares aircraft surfaces and applies sealants, adhesives and associated chemicals. Stores, handles, uses and disposes of hazardous material and waste. Initiates deficiency reports, maintenance analysis documents, technical data change, and equipment records. Records information on maintenance data collection forms and automated systems.
Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Provide over the shoulder training to the ROK Air Force customer when required.   

Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma or GED with 6 years’ experience - A basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.  - US SECRET Clearance Required.  - Able to commit to a 2 year overseas assignment

Preferred Qualifications: - (FAA) Airframe and Power plant (A&P) and General Radiotelephone Operators License (GROL) desired.
- Certified UAV Technician /  Aircraft Electronics/Fuel/Mechanical Technician
- Working knowledge of maintenance databases (i.e., IMDS/CAMS)
- Worked on previous Global Hawk maintenance programs.
- Air Force avionics maintenance experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work after hours and weekends as required
