Position will utilize SAP to support Accounts Receivable processing in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, company policies/procedures, disclosure statements, and government regulations. Candidate shall demonstrate an understanding of accounting principles/concepts as well as good analytical and problem solving skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: •            Process incoming cash receipts, lockbox payments, check deposits, AR refunds, write-offs, and intercompany cash transfers •            Maintain reporting for metric information, reconcile GL cash accounts •            Support, analyze and research unidentified receipts with bank and/or customer •            Assist with internal and external audit inquiries •            Process web tickets and inquiries •            Participate in projects and/or process improvement tasks as appropriate     

Basic Qualifications: •            Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; OR an Associates degree with 2 years' related work experience; OR a High School diploma or GED with 4 years' of related work experience •            Strong attention to detail and accounting orientation •            Must be able to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines •            Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel

Preferred Qualifications: •            SAP experience •            Experience in a financial services environment •            AR/Cash application experiences •            Government contracting experience •            Understanding of FAR, GAAP, CAS, and SOX requirement
