Enterprise Services (ES) Property Accounting is seeking a Senior Principal Accountant knowledgeable in Financial & Property Accounting functions and activities. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Serve as Property Accounting lead in providing direction and guidance to team members
  • Focal point to coordinate month-end close activities and ensure team maintains fixed asset financial records, including depreciation, retirements and transfers
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations and reporting deliverables
  • Perform analysis and reporting requirements to support the operating sectors and business partners
  • Lead activities related to reorganizations, conversions and ERP process upgrades; interface with functional departments, business partners and consultants
  • Streamline processes and improve deliverables
  • Support Federal Tax and Property Tax reporting
  • Focal point for audit requests, including DCAA, Internal Audit and External Audit

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field and 10 years related experience; or a Master’s degree with 8 years related experience
  • Knowledge in GAAP and CAS

Preferred Qualifications:
  • CPA
  • Experience with SAP
  • Previous work experience in an accounting shared service organization
