Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, our Defense Systems Sector is seeking experienced personnel with aircraft supply support background to support a maintenance program with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in Jacksonville, FL. The CBP P-3 fleet consists of Airborne Early Warning (AEW) and Long Range Tracker (LRT) high-endurance, all-weather, tactical turbo-prop aircraft. The AEW aircraft are utilized primarily for long-range patrols along the entire U.S. border, and in source and transit zone countries. The LRT aircraft are used to intercept, track airborne and surface threats in source and transit zone countries. The P-3 aircraft are equipped with state-of-the-art, highly sophisticated sensor equipment, i.e., radar, electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) detecting systems.


We need YOU to join our Team as a SCA Shipping / Receiving Clerk.  This position is located in Jacksonville, FL.


You will perform limited aspects of aviation supply support work (e.g., material control functions, inventory management, warehouse functions and storage management) related to supply support. Work is related to logistics functions applicable for the site operations, to include ordering, packing, shipping, and receiving and inventorying of DOD and commercial material. Assignments usually relate to standard material control functions.  This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines.

Task Requirements:
•    Performs duties as Supply Technician in support of Customs Border Protection (CBP) P-3 aircraft maintenance.
•    Collaborate various departments to determine all required materials and ensure accountability and availability of all materials.
•    Maintain all sensitive data information in accordance with policy and procedures.
•    Coordinate with maintenance and supply support departments to ensure efficient movement and expediting of all materials.
•    Maintain all information for status of materials on a near real time basis and generate periodic material readiness reports.
•    Prepare required reports for all cost accounts and procurement to ensure compliance to all account payable requirements.
•    Prepare required documents for shipping, receiving and disposal. Maintain all files in accordance with customer direction.
•    Maintain cleanliness of your assigned work area.
•    Comply with established General and Industrial Safety Rules 
•    Perform computer input functions on the AMFAMS asset management system
•    Assist when directed to ensure safety, security, and preservation of Government owned and Company owned equipment.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:
•    A High School diploma or equivalent.
•    Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a Supply or Logistics role. 
•    Minimum of 3 years of aircraft supply support and material handling experience.
•    Ability to track the flow of material, parts, and assemblies within and/or between supply support, work centers and detachment sites.
•    Great organizational skills and ability to multi-task various projects to completion in a timely manner.
•    Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
•    Ability to operate a forklift and utilize hand tools
•    Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
•    Ability to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends and support on call status for 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, 365 days a year.
•    Ability to obtain/maintain a DOD Active Secret Level Security Clearance.
•    Ability to obtain/maintain the Department of Homeland Security Background Investigation.

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Above average computer skills
•    Familiarity with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) or equivalent.
•    Experience with NAVSUP supply applications and training in aviation publications and programs
•    Forklift operator certified
•    Experience with aviation Material Control / Supply Support ordering, shipping, and receiving procedures
•    Experience in inventory analysis and stocking procedures
•    Experience with aircraft modification kitting procedures
•    Knowledge or familiarization with the P-3 type aircraft.
•    Current DOD Secret Level Security Clearance. 
•    Current Department of Homeland Security CBP Background Investigation.
 


Salary Range: $17 USD - $17 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
