Are you ready to put your experience to work at Northrop Grumman? If so, we need you to join our Team as a Principal Configuration Analyst. You will be joining our TE 6B In Flight Trainer Program located at Lake Charles, LA.

In this position, your duties will be:

Plans and coordinates preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.

Reviews contracts to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.

Analyzes proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.

Coordinates modification records for management control.

Establishes change orders and prepares for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.

Reviews and analyzes released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.

Supports the conduct of product and process evaluations in accordance with customer and corporate requirements for AS9100 and SEI CMMI compliant processes.

Use your experience working in a configuration management product life cycle system (i.e., Agile PLM, Teamcenter).

Use your demonstrated experience configuring, administering, and maintaining SharePoint, a working knowledge of CM Tool(s) with check-in/check-out capabilities.

Controls and releases drawings and documentation using JIRA, Confluence and Teamcenter.

Basic Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 10 yrs of related experience; A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 6 yrs of relevant experience may be considered.

2. Experience developing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) in an Agile Environment

3. Sound knowledge of Configuration/Data management (CM/DM) industry practices and standards.

4. Familiarity with AS9100 and CMMI or similar training

5. Current Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

1. BS or MS in Engineering or Configuration Management


Salary Range: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
