We are currently seeking a full-time C-130 Aircraft Equipment Expeditor-1 to join our team at the Lake Charles, Louisiana facility.  Your Duties will include:
  • Receive, store, and issue tools, machine tool fixtures, dies, and measuring devices.
  • Maintain records of tools issued to employees
  • Take periodic inventory and requisitions stock as needed
  • Report damaged, worn out, or missing equipment using automated system to enter transactions, validate information and maintain database.
  • Clean, oil, and perform minor repairs on equipment
  • Dispose of surplus or obsolete equipment in accordance established procedures.
  • Ensure that measuring devices are periodically calibrated.
  • Additional duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications: 1. A High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 months of relevant experience with inventory management including consumption, record keeping, and replacement ordering. 2. Knowledge of tools and their intended use, tool accountability, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) and safety programs. 3. A valid Driver's license 4. Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: 1. A current Secret security clearance. 2. Knowledge of hardware tools for aircraft and aircraft repair industry 3. Knowledge of tool tracking software.
