Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector  is seeking an F-35 Aircraft Contract Field Team (CFT) Manager to supervise and manage the Northrop Grumman F-35 Maintenance Repair Overhaul and Upgrade (MRO&U) CFT operation at NAS Lemoore, CA. The selected candidate will supervise maintenance personnel in the execution of CFT operations, helping our company achieve superior performance on the highly visible F-35 program.  The position requires an effective leader with excellent judgment and strong management and coordination skills to ensure compliance with program safety, quality, schedule, and cost requirements.  Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective partnerships with host unit and program partners are keys to successful performance in this position.  The selected candidate’s performance will directly impact Northrop Grumman’s objective of optimizing our role as a key partner in the F-35 program.       TSMROU   

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have either a High School diploma / GED with a minimum of 8 years of aircraft maintenance experience; or, an Associate’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of aircraft maintenance; or a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience leading a team
  • Must have an active U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, or have held a DoD Secret clearance within the last 2 years
  Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fighter aircraft MRO&U experience.
  • CFT experience.
  • DoD aircraft MRO&U experience.
  • F-35, F-22, B-2, or other low observable (LO) program experience.
  • Proficient implementing Time Compliance Technical Directives (TCTD).
  • Proficient interpreting modification engineering drawings and manufacturing/material process specifications.
