Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking an F-35 Contractor Field Team Modification Kit Coordinator based at NAS Lemoore. Northrop Grumman is standing up a DoN F-35 program CFT operations to cover five total sites throughout the US and the selected candidate's performance will help Northrop Grumman achieve superior results on the highly visible F-35 program. The selected candidate will primarily support the execution of CFT MRO&U operations at NAS Lemoore , with the potential to cover MCAS Beaufort, MCAS Miramar, MCAS Cherry Point or MCAS Yuma in the future if required.

The selected candidate will manage turnaround assets including interfacing daily with on-site Organic supply personnel to ensure shipping, tracking, receiving, and distribution is timely and complete. Performs kit management, scheduling, material content, and usage and trend analysis. Interfacing with Supply Chain including program buyers and item managers to include day-to-day status tracking of parts/kits shipments. Provides logistical support for the site and works with the program to obtain and track resources, kits, supplies for the operation. Responsible and reports to F-35 CFT Mod Lead for mod/kit inventory lists are accounted for prior to induction.    Manages and creates logs for turnaround assets including interfacing daily with on-site organic supply personnel to ensure shipping, tracking, receiving, and distribution is timely and complete. Primary duties will be to track, inventory and supply mechanics and Mod lead with inventory of MRO&U depot level kits and tooling.  Order and coordinate/retrieve benchstock items from the customer to the MRO&U team.  Track/Coordinate HAZMAT supply for modification team, identify shortfalls, and problem solve to resolution. Track supplies, tools, equipment from customer in NGC custody. Tracks and expedites Mod/Tool Kits. Orders, tracks, and returns inventories to business unit for supplies thru the ordering system. Responsible for HPR consumables Inventory/Ordering.  Identifies, tracks, coordinates, logs and ships broken and Calibrated tools.  Sorts, tracks, and turns-in aircraft parts for refurbishment or back to the supplier.  Rolls part numbers in ALIS system to upgrade and utilizes Computerize Maintenance Management System (CMMS).  Coordinating Freight item deliveries.  Storing and inventory of all Kits and supplies.  Ordering serialized and consumable parts for aircraft.   


TSMROU     

Basic Qualifications: 
  • High School Diploma/GED and 4 years' work experience; or an Associates’ Degree and 2 years’ work experience
  • Performance Based Logistics (PBL)/Supply Chain Management concepts and performance requirements experience
  • Aircraft modification kit/spares/inventory management systems experience
  • Active Secret Level Security Clearance (US Citizenship Required)
  • Ability to travel (up to 10% of the time)
  • Must be able to successfully complete and pass government required F-35 trainings (Advanced Technical Training and/or Cadre Course) for continued employment
  • Must be willing to provide temporary support to our other CFT locations at  MCAS Miramar, MCAS Cherry Point, MCAS Beaufort or MCAS Yuma should the need arise
  • Experience with aircraft component repair cycle management; repairs process, tracking, expediting, Mission Capable (MICAP) management, transportation management
  • Experienced user of MS Office computer programs to accomplish reports, logs and briefings
     
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Supply/Inventory management experience to include: shelf-life, electrostatic discharge (ESD) component handling
  • Experience with aircraft SOR Source of Repair, Return Material Authorization
  • Knowledge of Workbooks, procedures and forms
