Northrop Grumman Space Payload and Ground Systems Division Remote Sensing Programs (PGS RSP) is a strategic partner specializing in delivering intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance solutions for classified and unclassified missions in space.  Headquartered in Linthicum, Maryland, PGS RSP has offices, manufacturing, and world-class assembly, integration, and test facilities across the BWI area in northern Anne Arundel County, Maryland.  Our products include Active RF, Passive RF, and Electro-Optical sensor systems for space, space solar power, cross domain demonstrations, and space resilience payloads & solutions.

We are seeking a SEIT IPT Lead (Systems Engineering Integration & Test Integrated Product Team Lead) for a program that includes Operations and Maintenance (O&M), developing new capabilities and updates to existing capabilities, and supporting system demonstrations. This role includes the following responsibilities:

Operations and Maintenance:

  • Coordinate people resources to support demonstrations, investigate anomalies, and perform day-to-day operations support
  • Be the program POC for any issues that arise in the System Integration Lab (SIL) and coordinate fixes

Development or Patching periods:

  • Coordinate between Systems, I&T, software (SW), and firmware (FW) to ensure all parties are aware of necessary design decisions/changes
  • Coordinate people resources to support SW/FW development (Systems) and I&T
  • Coordinate testing
  • Coordinate patch implementation
  • Maintain cost and schedule for the SEIT IPT

Opportunity to provide technical direction and support including MATLAB analysis, I&T, operations support, etc.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Sr. Principal Engineer - BS Degree (STEM) + 8 years of exp; Master's + 6 years of exp; PhD + 3 years of exp
  • Managing a team in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment
  • Experience leading and coordinating technical reviews
  • Ability to interact with customer team
  • Ability to react rapidly to change
  • Active TS/SCI or SSBI for TS completed in the last 12 months

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with EVMS and CAM role and responsibilities
  • IMS development and maintenance
  • Experience with Payload systems engineering integration and test and operations
  • Planning sheet development and maintenance
  • Experience with Atlassian tool suite (i.e. JIRA, BitBucket, Confluence)

Salary Range: 119800 - 179600

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
