Job Description:

The simulation is a statistical radar simulation, using representative measurement errors and timing latencies experienced in flight. The Matlab simulation currently operates open-loop from vehicle trajectory files and interfaces with the tracker OFP. Moving forward the simulation will need to interface with the vehicle 6DoF model in a Linux environment, and the Matlab code will need to be translated to C/C++ for the prime to use in HWIL testing. The MS&A lead will need to interface regularly with the mode, software, and vehicle teams to ensure that the latest models are up to date in the simulation. The MS&A lead will also need to give periodic updates to technical leaders from APL and potentially the customer, but I am not aware of any further scheduled reviews. This position will require on site work in Linthicum Maryland.
